He said he nearly slipped and lost his foothold. Why? Because his focus was on the wicked and not the Lord. In Jeremiah all who rejected Jeremiah’s words are put to death or sent into exile. The last chapter (52) records the sad end of Jerusalem and it’s temple. Revelation 19 records the celebration of the destruction of the prostitute Babylon. It ends with the birds gorging themselves on the flesh of the fallen. God bless all of you.
